The cost of storage can rapidly increase as your image hosting site grows. To reduce the amount of storage required for images, Reservo will only ever store a single copy of each image.

  • Duplicate images are never stored. If a duplicate image is uploaded, a unique download url will be generated which also allows for unique statistics and privacy options for each individual download.
  • Deleting an image that is a duplicate of another will only remove the download url, not the original image. Deleting the last donwload url of that image will remove the original copy of the image.
  • Logging of md5 file hashes on upload. Optionally show these to your users to validate file contents. MD5 file hashes are logged on upload. You can show these to your users to validate the contents. (configurable)
  • You can install an unlimited amount of image servers as your site grows allowing for larger storage capacity. See the image servers page for additional information.
